My Final Goodbye

November 18, 2013:
Before the match began, Hamlet apologized to me publicly for the wrongdoings he has dealt me and my family. I lied and only half-heartedly accepted the apology and proceeded with the scheme to kill Hamlet. I eventually wounded Hamlet with the poisoned sword. In a short scuffle, the swords are quickly switched. Hamlet wounded me on a cheap shot using my own poisoned blade. I am now sitting here on the ground dying very slowly and painfully. I should have never gone through with King Claudius's plans in the first place, as it brought about my own demise.

The Fencing Match

November 18, 2013:
King Claudius has arranged a fencing match between Hamlet and I. We are going to settle our differences like men. I will never forgive him for his cold blooded murder that took my fathers life. If our plans happen to work out successfully, Hamlet should be dead by the end of the fencing match. I will be using my sharp, poisoned sword instead of a bated sword in the fencing match. The King is providing a poisoned drink as a backup measure.

Revenge on the man that killed my father

November 12, 2013:
I have returned back to Denmark to avenge my father's horrific death. After being informed of my father's death. I am was planning to lead a mob to storm and take the castle. After confronting with the King, I have no realized that the real killer is Hamlet. What Hamlet did my father is just wrong and unjust. Hamlet is just lucky that I was retrained from fighting at Ophelia's funeral.

The Departure to France

September 11, 2013:
Today is the day that I depart back to France. I'm traveling overseas to broaden myself and learn the gentlemanly arts. France is a wonderful wonderful place and each region is very distinctive. The French have a unique culture of their own, much different from my own. France has something for everyone, sights, museums, food, street performers, beach, shopping, and parks. My studies are my first priority while I am in France, but school will not prevent me from having a great time.

The King! The King is dead!

July 5, 2013:
Today marks the tragic death of our beloved king, King Hamlet. King Hamlet has died of natural causes. I speak for the people of Denmark when I say that we are all affected by his sudden exit from the world. King Hamlet was a great king. King Hamlet was a warrior, as he led Denmark's forces to victory against Norway, and personally defeated its King Fortinbras in hand-to-hand combat. Hamlet respects his father, saying Claudius pales in comparison to him, and frequently reflects on him in an endearing manner.

The Dangers of Over-Confidence

Overconfidence is a dangerous characteristic to have. Overconfidence can be detrimental to individuals that have such strong beliefs in their own ability that aren't supported by the evidence. Overconfident people often also tend not to listen to constructive feedback about their failings or mistakes. This may not allow them to learn from their mistakes. People do not need a realistic evaluation of our abilities to succeed. We need to be over-confident at the right places and times in our lives. For more information visit the following websites to find out if your overconfidence is causing you problems:
